Shroud of mist blankets the untouched morning.
Creeping along meadows and river banks;
ghostly, esoteric.
The veil between this World and another hangs loosely.
Flaps in a stirring chilled breeze.
Night recedes reluctantly, affronted by the emerging first light.
A glimpse of secrets darker than the Earth catch my Soul.
This utter silence.
Space occupied only by truth.
******************************
Dew drops flaunt miniature rainbows as sunbeams tickle them.
Flowers rustling, brushing off cold sleep.
The grandeur of hundred year old trees sways majestically to a rhythm in Mother Earth's bosom.
A song on her lips....
The sigh of air sweeping across sprouting wheat.
Dropping seed.
I'm planting faith.
I've come to face raw beauty.
No one's here except me.
Solitude knows how to console and leads with hope.
Rocks me gently while I close my eyes to let this moment last.
I'll save it.
Bring pure innocence beside bitter reality wherever I go.
I realize I can live with the bad I know if I sow everything good I've ever collected.
Tear drops fall.
I'm still here and giving it my all.
