A heart wound that never heals.
Spinning-------spinning grief's wheels.
Time-----------to turn back tragedy's clock.
Yield, shield, and block.
Those lives, happy faces, futures erased.
Nothing reconciles when evil-based.
Cursing all gods for non-prevention.
Praising the Super Heroes intervention.
Rivers of tears flow endlessly.
Whole worlds destroyed, senselessly.
Forever paused......stopped in an instance.
Now, only memories mingle with pains indifference.
Enforced an unavailable, unattainable distance.
Never to touch or hold close again.
Shock, desperation, disbelief--------they condemn.
Everything changes without "Them."
A before and after begins.
Guilt and blames visions.
Why couldn't you keep them here?
It's happened--------your worst fear.
Though deep down you know.
Your power is limited.
Heart remains conflicted.
Lost-----a part of you that went with the beloved.
