And in Winter's cold stare
Hope is hidden right there
Out, standing in plain sight
Worshipping day and night
Bare trees, arms up to sky
Praising the warm goldeye
Their brave stories imply
Be bold, stay and just try
Season's of birds fly by
Sweet farewell, please don't cry
Branches of offering
Years spent conquering
Refuge upon return
Here, for all to adjourn
This Winter holds wonder
Though icy winds blunder
Rip, to tear asunder
Uproot and go under
However some may fall,
plenty that still stand tall
Landscapes sculpted with snow
Peace sneaks in by tip-toe
Soon, this too shall pass-go
Like changes we outgrow
Taking what needs to know,
toward each tomorrow
Beauty beside sorrow
Learning how to borrow,
from wins and losses' blow
To hear, see and follow
Love's tenacious echo
