For you
It’s another
desolating depressing news
For me
It’s an entire life
Packed into a tiny wobbly wheeled suitcase
Water, blue infinity
These waves take away all my poems
All my gasps
Like they take away bags and shoes
Nothing scares me anymore
The tiny suitcase is no more
But its wheels still wobble in my ears
Everyone wants to know
If it ever snowed in my hometown
In my hometown
Like snow
Cold tiny flakes of skin float
And cover the earth
The gallows stand tall and steady
On the tears of a thousand of mothers
Like candles find their feet
In their own tears
It’s another
desolating depressing news
For me
It’s an entire life
Packed into a tiny wobbly wheeled suitcase
Water, blue infinity
These waves take away all my poems
All my gasps
Like they take away bags and shoes
Nothing scares me anymore
The tiny suitcase is no more
